Originally purchased by the Maxwell family in 1664, it remained a private home for more than 330 years, before being redeveloped into a hotel in 2006. It has since evolved into an exquisite escape in the heart of Ireland, which bears the indelible mark made by the Maxwell family and is enjoyed by a new generation of residents.
